Braden to undergo shoulder surgery

The A’s just announced that Dallas Braden will undergo surgery Monday to repair a torn capsule in his left shoulder. Recovery time will be determined following the procedure, to be performed by Dr. David Altchek (medical director of the Mets) in New York City.
